We chatted with Kelly (aka Elton Jr.) about Elton John, of course, as well as some personal tidbits! You can hear the interview here. More about Kelly: "Kelly's love for Elton John started when he was 16. He first saw Elton perform live on TV in 1987 during his Live in Australia Tour. Before that, he was on the Muppet Show in the 1970's which Kelly had the opportunity to see later.
Kelly first performed as "Elton Jr." in 2002, at the Winnipeg Gay Pride festival. It was a most memorable experience for not only himself but for members of the Winnipeg Pride Committee who had never heard him before. A musical track was submitted on CD and reviewed. The committee member returned moments later asking (already astonished and amazed with what he heard) if it was truly me on the cd."
